Pricing and Return Policy
- Our product prices are subject to change without notice.
- Due to the edible and custom-made nature of our product, we are unable to accept returns after our product has been received/delivered. We will work with every customer to satisfy any quality complaints and unmet expectations as best as we can within reasonable discretion.
- If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us and make your complaint known in writing, within 48 hours of receiving your order, so that we can quickly address and remedy the situation.
- We are not responsible for product spoilage due to improper storage. Please see our FAQS page for helpful cake/cupcake care information.
Cake Order and Changes Policy
- We require a 2-week minimum for all cake orders. To request a quote, click Here.
- Rush orders are orders placed within 2 weeks of the event date and will incur an additional fee, if accepted.
- Rush orders (orders made less than 2 weeks to event date) must be paid in full at time of order.
- We require a 2-week minimum notice for changes to all cake orders. Order changes may incur an additional fee depending on the nature and extent of the change. No changes to size, flavor or decoration can be made after this time.
Cake Order Retainer, Remaining Balances and Refund Policy
- A 50% NON-REFUNDABLE RETAINER IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CAKE ORDERS.
- Orders are not booked and confirmed until we have received the 50% retainer or full payment.
- Remaining balances are due no later than 2 weeks before the event date.
- We require a minimum of 2 weeks' notice to cancel an order.
- No refunds will be made for cancellations made less than 2 weeks to the event date.
- In the event of a cancellation, all monies paid beyond the retainer fee will be applied as a credit towards a future order.
Pickup and Delivery Policy
Pickup
- All orders are collected at a mutually public location listed on order confirmation emails.
- Customers are responsible for communicating with us if running late or are unable to collect an order within the designated collection time frame so that we can reschedule.
- Customers are expected to collect their order within their chosen pickup time frame. In the event that a customer is running late and has made us aware, we will wait 10 minutes as a grace period.
- If collection is not made during the 10-minute grace period, customers will have to reschedule their pickup for a later date/time that is convenient to the shop.
- We are not responsible for orders that are damaged during transportation, after a customer collects it. It is the customer's responsibility to properly secure their order during transportation.
Delivery
- We deliver within the city of Charlotte, NC and its surrounding towns and counties. Please inquire with us prior to placing a delivery order if you are outside of the Charlotte city area and its surrounding towns.
- Signed delivery 18 or older - All deliveries require an individual 18 years or older to receive and sign for the order. All orders will be inspected by both the shop and the receiving party before being released to ensure it was delivered in good condition, then signed for by the receiving individual as a confirmation.
- Pre-Delivery Contact - It is extremely important that the shop confirms someone is available for delivery prior to attempting delivery. We will contact customers on the contact number provided on the order 45 minutes prior to the delivery time.
- If we are unable to contact the customer after 2 attempts and the customer does not make contact with us at least 30 minutes prior to the delivery time, delivery will not be attempted.
- We do not leave orders as drop offs due to the fragile and perishable nature of our product. The customer must have someone available to receive their order. If this is not possible, the customer will have to collect their order from the shop at a later time/date. Delivery charges are not refunded in these cases.
- Missed Pre-Delivery Contact - Customers who miss their pre-delivery contact call/text will be required to reschedule their delivery or choose to pick up their order and be refunded the delivery charge originally paid.
- Delivery Reschedule - An email will be sent to the email used on the order advising the customer of the missed pre-delivery contact, cancelled delivery, and request for them to reschedule delivery or change delivery to pick up (with a delivery refund).
